CREATIVE SKILLS AND THINKING - SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
PROJECT SUMMARY
All partners will work together to develop and improve within pupils  "Creative Skills and Thinking". Partners will cooperate in developing flexible teaching and learning strategies in order to promote within their teaching creative thinking and skills. Partners will cooperate together in planning cross curricular themes to develop within the classroom environment :
  • creative thinking
  • improved concentration and behaviour
  • imagination, purpose, and originality
  • self esteem , confidence, cooperation, organisation and persistence.
Teachers and students will work in the different subject areas and cross-curricular spheres, e.g. mother tongue - writing, oral communication ; mathematics, arts, etc. Each team will work out practical activities aiming creativity in the different areas.Within each of the partner schools we would hope to define and promote:

  • What is creativity ?
  • Why is creativity important ?
  • How can you recognise creativity?
  • How teachers can promote creativity.
  • How schools can manage crerativity across the curriculum.
We shall exchange and put into practice mutual knowledge and skills, comparing the different  teaching land learning environments, means  and resources at the disposal of the different partners. We shall collect and exchange our research, studies and information, formulating it into a common book and a common web page with a forum for exchanging ideas and good practices.
